The creation of the website & the club

This site is produced by and up to 26.5.2009 was maintained by Jose Kramer. In the time it started to chicken was very little info available about Orpington & orpingtonbantams. You had the info just gather together. For this reason, they then started building this site. Without some knowledge of affairs, she with hands and feet put together the website. The aim was to share knowledge of the best chicken on earth: the Orpington!

In mid 2009 the amount of work was so out of hand, however, that Jose Kramer uttered a cry that heart-warming responses came from various breeders. And not just from the Netherlands, but from 7 different countries! This is a May 26, 2009 the "European Orpington Club" reached!

With the help of the members of this club we will continue to expand and improve the site, including this thinking to the translation into German, French and English, but also the creation of a galery and marketplace system, so that members themselves are able to make their own photo albums to update and advertisements!
